Under the sunny skies of Sunrise, Florida, Miami Dolphins legend Dwight Stephenson joined forces with Arc Broward for the inaugural Dwight Stephenson Arc Broward Golf Classic. The event, held at the prestigious Boca Lago Golf & Country Club, brought together an impressive lineup of former NFL players and community leaders to support a vital cause.

The day kicked off with a breakfast buffet, setting the stage for 148 enthusiastic golfers who teed off in a spirited competition. As golf balls soared through the air, the true aim was clear: supporting Arc Broward’s mission to empower individuals with disabilities. The tournament, boosted by a lively silent auction, successfully raised over $80,000.

Notable NFL alumni, including Brandon Flowers, Jordan Poyer, and Terry Kirby, were among those who lent their support to the cause. The community’s response was overwhelmingly positive, underscoring the trust and belief in Arc Broward’s work.

Celebrating 70 years, Arc Broward continues to be a cornerstone in Broward County, offering 24 programs across 16 locations that provide crucial services to individuals with disabilities. Through initiatives like Arc Educates and Arc Culinary, the organization opens doors to education and employment, fostering an inclusive community.
