Under the bright South Florida sun, a new chapter in healthcare began as Holy Cross Health Center & Emergency Care celebrated its grand opening in Deerfield Beach. The ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 8 marked a significant milestone for the community, attended by Pierre Monice, MBA, FACHE, President and CEO of Holy Cross Health, along with executive leaders, physicians, supporters, and local community members.
The state-of-the-art facility, located at 340 South Federal Highway, spans 25,000 square feet and represents a $41 million investment in the health of the community. Combining a freestanding emergency department with a full outpatient health center, the facility offers primary care, specialty services, physical therapy, and on-site lab and imaging. This integrated approach allows patients to receive both urgent and ongoing care under one roof.
Set to open its doors to patients on May 18, the center aims to address a critical need for accessible healthcare in the area. By providing a seamless transition from emergency services to long-term care, the facility is poised to enhance health outcomes for residents across Deerfield Beach and beyond.
