The lively sounds of Caribbean music will soon fill Shirley Branca Park in Miramar, where the We Reach Foundation is hosting the Caribbean Fitness Fete 2026. This free event on Saturday, June 27, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., promises a vibrant morning of health, fitness, and cultural celebration, coinciding with Caribbean American Heritage Month.

Organized by We Reach Foundation and supported by Commissioner Maxwell B. Chambers and the City of Miramar, the event aims to unite the community through the rich traditions and contributions of Caribbean culture. “Caribbean Fitness Fete combines the energy of Caribbean music with health and wellness to inspire healthier lifestyles,” said Lex Pierre-Louis, Founder of We Reach Foundation.

The event offers live fitness sessions, Caribbean dance workouts, and cultural performances, featuring hosts Slim City, DJ Rob, and DJ Mixx. Local partners like the Miramar Run Club and Fordham Fitness will join in, providing a platform for residents to embrace health and celebrate the Caribbean spirit.

Commissioner Chambers emphasized the significance of the event, stating, “Caribbean culture is rooted in resilience and community, and this event brings people together in a positive, healthy way.”
