The 16th annual Light Up MLK was held on November 18 at Annie Gillis Park, 601 MLK Jr. Blvd. The event featured songs from the E. Pat Larkins Senior Choir, a cheer from the Pompano Chiefs and included a turkey giveaway courtesy of P3 Church. There was also a Black Santa for pictures and games for the community. Commissioner Beverly Perkins also made an appearance.
