The City of Pompano Beach Job Placement Center is now a Florida Ready to Work Proctor Location for Pompano Beach residents, which provides training and credentialing of the foundational and transferable employability skills required for most jobs in Florida including digital skills, essential soft skills, math, reading and data skills.
The City will host an in-person workshop on the second Thursday of every month starting October 2023 from 4–6pm at the E. Pat Larkins Community Center. These workshops will provide workforce resources from Broward College, bringing its Broward UP Program into the community to open positions from local employers and the Florida Ready to Work Program.
