In a dazzling display of philanthropy and community spirit, the Amazon 13th Annual Broward Health Ball recently captivated more than 1,400 attendees at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood. The event, which included immersive décor, aerial performances, and live music, raised nearly $3.5 million to support the Broward Health Foundation’s mission.

This significant fundraising effort will bolster Broward Health’s ongoing commitment to providing exceptional care and expanding medical education. Shane Strum, President and CEO of Broward Health, emphasized the impact of these contributions, stating that the generosity of donors allows investment in new technology and enhancements in specialty care.

Key donations highlighted during the evening included a $700,000 anonymous gift to the Children’s Diagnostic and Treatment Center and $500,000 from Broward Health Foundation Chair Mark Kent. These funds will be used to honor key figures in the healthcare community and support new medical facilities.

The event also featured silent and live auctions with exclusive experiences, including a ride on the Goodyear Blimp, further adding to the evening’s fundraising success.
