Broward Health Celebrates Class of 2026 Medical Graduates
In a heartwarming ceremony, Broward Health celebrated the accomplishments of its largest Graduate Medical Education (GME) class to date. On June 11, a total of 111 physicians proudly completed their residency and fellowship training across 20 clinical programs, marking a significant milestone for the healthcare system.
Among the graduates, the Family Medicine Residency Class made history as the program’s 30th graduating group. This momentous occasion not only celebrated the achievements of the residents but also honored the dedicated faculty, chief residents, and mentors who played pivotal roles in shaping future physicians. The event underscored the commitment, resilience, and professional growth displayed by the residents throughout their journey.
Broward Health’s dedication to advancing medical education is evident through its strategic investments and program expansions. Recent enhancements include new GME facilities at Broward Health North and Broward Health Medical Center, further solidifying the health system’s commitment to nurturing future medical professionals.
Later this month, Broward Health will host its annual White Coat Ceremony to welcome a new class of residents, symbolizing the beginning of their medical training. This event creates a full-circle moment as one class graduates and another embarks on their path to becoming physicians.
