(Miami Gardens, FL) — As Thanksgiving approaches and concerns over rising food costs persist, many families face challenges affording the traditional holiday dinner. In response to this, the Big Dreams For Kids Foundation, led by renowned South Florida entertainer Flo Rida, is joining forces with esteemed partners: the Beta Beta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. The Law Office of Reginald A. Mathis & Associates, and Strong Arm International Music Group.
On Monday, November 20, 2023, beginning at 3:00PM, a collaborative effort will take place at Studio 183 Lounge, located at 230 NW 183rd Street in Miami Gardens, FL, where free food baskets will be distributed to hundreds of local families on a first-come, first-served basis, ensuring families receive these essential provisions while supplies last.
Each food basket will include a turkey, assorted vegetables, cornbread, and all the trimmings necessary to craft a fulfilling Thanksgiving Day dinner for a family of 8.
“This is the season of giving, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to give back every year to families in our local South Florida communities” expressed Flo Rida, founder of the Big Dreams for Kids Foundation.
