The Green Market Pompano Beach just ended, but the vendors are still in business. The Green Market Pompano runs every year from November to April, on the second and fourth Saturday of the month. It is a partnership between the City of Pompano Beach and the Pompano Beach Historical Society. Although the festival closed in April, you can still enjoy shopping with their top vendors all year round. Here are some highlighted vendors:
PastryURDay
PastryURDay is a Caribbean bakery that brings authentic Guyanese cuisine to South Florida. Owner and baker Ana Permanan created PastryURDay after 20 years of catering experience in the West Indies. Her cooking and baked goods reflect the tropical flavors of where she grew up. She is thankful to her children, who inspired her to pursue her dream of opening PastryURDay.
You will be sure to enjoy traditional Caribbean treats with PastryURDay. Homemade goods include Guyanese salara (red coconut roll), roti, pineapple tarts, and savory cheese rolls prepared with a perfectly delightful flaky crust. Jojo’s Flair
Jojo’s Flair is a full-service florist and shop, created by flower artist and enthusiast Joanna. Joanna was born in Chile and grew up here in Florida. She has also lived in Denver, Seattle, and Anguilla in the Caribbean. While traveling, she found herself mesmerized by the different beautiful flowers native to each terrain.
She opened up Jojo’s Flair in 2011, and since then has been one of the top florists serving Palm Beach and Broward Counties. Jojo’s Flair has provided flower arrangements for special events including weddings, birthdays, holidays, and more. Chocolate Diva Bakes Brownie Bar
Chocolate Diva Bakes Brownie Bar provides delicious and decorative baked goods. They have beautiful custom cakes and cupcakes. Baker and owner Mary can make any design for your special event, no matter how complicated. This South Florida bakery also customizes desserts for special dietary needs, including keto, vegan and gluten-free options.
