Update: Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit have located 12-year-old Maya Edwards missing from Pompano Beach

According to detectives, Edwards was located safe and unharmed. She has been reunited with her family.  A missing persons alert was issue for Edwards on Saturday, Dec. 21, after she was last seen at around 4:30 a.m. that day, near the 1400 block of Northeast 41st Street.
