POMPANO BEACH, FL — A quiet revolution in transportation is happening on our streets.
Circuit – Pompano Beach, the City’s free, electric, on-demand shuttle service, has officially surpassed 500,000 passengers, marking a major milestone for sustainable and accessible transit in the community .
Launched in 2021 through city funding and grant support, the service was designed to strengthen the local transit network with a no-fare option for residents and visitors .
The shuttle primarily serves the barrier island and surrounding near-beach neighborhoods — connecting riders to the sand, the fishing pier, grocery stores, waterfront dining and other daily essentials .
Available through an easy-to-use mobile app, Circuit links riders to healthcare, shopping, downtown destinations and beach access, making short trips more convenient and environmentally friendly .
