On November 15, the Pompano Beach Woman’s Club acknowledged the men who have spent years serving as leaders, role models, and steady forces within the community. Many were considered, but a powerful group of 15 men were selected for the 2025 inaugural Black Tie Affair.

The Pompano Beach Woman’s Club located at 314 NE 2nd Street, Pompano Beach, celebrated these prestigious honorees and highlighted their often-unsung contributions to the betterment of our neighborhoods. This year’s honorees included:

Agriculture – Fred Segal

Arts & Culture – David Miller, Ty Tabing

Community Service – Willie Brown, Andy Lee, Kerry Robinson

Entrepreneurship – Derriek Phillips, Edward Phillips, Jevon Shelton

Forestry – Wade Callum

Law Enforcement – Darryl Stallings

Media Communications – Michael Di’Oliveira

Pharmacy – Torrin Goodrum

Religious Services – Brian Campbell, Larry Vinkemulder

These remarkable men have earned their place in local history.

The Pompano Beach Woman’s Club, which carries a 125-year legacy of service, launched this gala as the first in a series of upscale fundraisers. Community members are encouraged to stay tuned for future events as the organization continues advancing its charitable mission.
