Mavuno Project Invites South Florida Educators to 2nd Annual “Teachers United” Brunch

Miami Gardens, FL – Several South Florida teachers are in for a treat, thanks to The Mavuno Project. The organization’s 2nd Annual “Teachers United” Brunch celebrates the area’s hard working educators. The sold-out event will be held Saturday, August 2, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at JC White Architecture Interior Products, 1162 NW 215th street, Miami Gardens.

This uplifting event promises a morning of laughter, gratitude, and connection exclusively for educators in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.

Event highlights include:

  • Comedy & Brunch hosted by comedian Natasha Naomi Calloway
  • Motivational speakers sharing timely messages of hope and encouragement
  • Networking opportunities with fellow educators
  • Goody bags with classroom essentials for the first 100 teachers who register and attend
  • A $500 School Grant for the school with the highest teacher attendancect.

Founded in 2017, The Mavuno Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to raise awareness about human trafficking and foster safe, supportive school communities. Through events like “Teachers United,” the organization uplifts the educators who shape South Florida’s future.
