On December 14, the Hazel Armbrister Courtyard at the Ali Cultural Arts Center was buzzing with creativity and community spirit, all thanks to the “40 for 40” art experience hosted by Major Visibility Providers. This event wasn’t just about showcasing art; it was a celebration of community, bringing people together for an evening of fun, creativity, and connection.

Host David Miller utilized art to discuss mental health and encourage wellness in the community. Miller is a community advocate, promoting afrofuturism.

Among the crowd was former commissioner Cyndy Floyd, a long-time supporter of the arts and community initiatives. The art will be displayed at the Jan Moran Collier City library in January.

“It shows us that when people come together to create and celebrate, they build connections that are just as enduring as the artworks themselves,” Miller said.
