Pompano Beach, FL – A woman talking a walk near the 300 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd and NW 3rd Avenue on August 15 had her life changed forever after local Pompano Beach resident, Andrew Frazier, 41, viciously assaulted her from behind.
Broward Sheriff’s Office released surveillance video of the incident that showed Frazier getting out of a silver Chevrolet Traverse. He snuck up behind the woman and mercilessly beat and then stabbed her, then walked back to his vehicle.
The unidentified victim staggered into a nearby business and BSO deputies were dispatched. They arrived to find the victim suffering from a stab wound and multiple broken bones. Pompano Beach Fire Rescue transported the woman to an area hospital where she remains in critical condition.
According to BSO spokesperson, Miranda Grossman, detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit arrested Frazier last week after receiving information that helped lead to his identification. Jail records show that Frazier will face one charge of attempted murder. Police have yet to release a possible motive for this crime. Frazier is currently being held without bond at the Broward County Main Jail.
