Broward Health to Break Ground in Lighthouse Point to Bring the City’s First Emergency Department

Broward Health is expanding its footprint in Broward County. The hospital
system will host a groundbreaking ceremony for the first free-standing
Emergency Department at 5360 N. Federal Highway, Lighthouse Point, FL 33064 on February 19, 2025, 10 a.m.

This state-of-the-art, two-story facility will span 14,251 square feet and
feature 10 patient exam rooms dedicated to the Emergency Department, along
with nine additional exam rooms on the second floor for medical offices. It
will be fully equipped to handle adult trauma care, resuscitation and
diagnostic services, including CT scans, X-rays and a Point of Care Lab.
