The Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) Homicide and Crime Scene units are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in Pompano Beach early Sunday morning, resulting in the death of one man.
Authorities reported that at approximately 12:52 a.m. on Sunday, February 16, Broward County Regional Communications received reports of gunfire at 713 N.W. Sixth Street. BSO deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue responded to the scene, where they found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was identified as Ke’Tavious Walker, 30.
The victim was transported to Broward Health North, where he was later pronounced deceased.
BSO’s Homicide and Crime Scene units are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. At this time, no suspect details have been released.
