Downtown roadway and infrastructure plan enters city review Wednesday

Pompano Beach’s Development Review Committee agenda includes a minor site plan for Downtown Pompano Roadway and Infrastructure at NW Fifth Avenue and NW First Avenue on August 5, 2026. The listed owners are the City of Pompano Beach and the Pompano Beach Community Redevelopment Agency. The project is within District 4 and the Downtown Pompano Beach Transit-Oriented Corridor. The site plan includes updating the baseline systems, including redundant water lines, modernized sewer infrastructure, re-routed stormwater management, and roadways and streetscape.

Northwest CRA to Review Five-Year Spending Plan and Business Incentives

The Northwest CRA Advisory Committee will hold a workshop Wednesday, August 5, at 6 p.m. at the E. Pat Larkins Community Center. The two listed discussion items are the FY 2027 budget and five-year strategic finance plan for 2027–2031, and Northwest CRA incentive programs.

Broward Mail-Ballot Request Deadline Is Thursday at 5 p.m.

Broward’s primary election is Tuesday, August 18, 2026. The deadline to request that a vote-by-mail ballot be mailed is 5 p.m. Thursday, August 6. Early voting runs August 8–16, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Completed mail ballots must be received by the Supervisor of Elections by 7 p.m. on Election Day.
